India: 700 apple trucks can leave Jammu and Kashmir

More than 700 truckloads of apple have been transported from Jammu and Kashmir to wholesale markets in North India over the previous two days. Inter-state buying and selling actions are progressively resuming in Jammu and Kashmir now that curbs are being lifted in a phased method following over a month of restrictions when the government stripped the state’s particular standing.

With apple choosing season within the Valley now at its peak, safety companies have progressively begun to take away restrictions on inter-state buying and selling.

“Nearly 300 trucks loaded with apples had left from Shopian district for the plains beyond Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. On Thursday, over 400 trucks left from the Sopore market and have crossed the border of Jammu and Kashmir and are now bound for other states,” stated an Military officer.
